Plants and Foods Toxic to Your Pets
Sunday, November 30, 2008
I'm sure at one point or another we have all wondered whether or not that food (or plant) that our pet just ate is toxic and could potentially cause them harm. If not, that's great, however, just in case, here are some links to sites that have lists of toxic plants and foods as well as tons of other excellent information regarding how to handle the situation in the event your pet does consume something toxic.
Note: This information is excellent for research and preparation, however, if you find yourself in a situation where you feel your pet may need medical attention, the most important step you can take is to call your local vet. If you don't currently have a veterinarian you can always call Central Pasco Vet Care at (813) 926-1126.
